Jackeline Rios-Torres

Eugene P. Wigner Fellow

Jackeline (Jacky) Rios-Torres is a Eugene P. Wigner Fellow in the Energy and Transportation Sciences Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. She received her B.S. in electronic engineering from the Universidad del Valle-Colombia, in 2008 and the Ph.D. in Automotive Engineering from Clemson University in 2015. Jacky has expertise in optimal control theory and advanced vehicles modeling and control with focus in connected and automated vehicles, intelligent transportation systems, eco-driving and energy management. A key aspect of her research efforts is the broad variety of scenarios she has used to analyze and develop strategies to increase the energy efficiency in the transportation sector. Jacky is actively engaged in the DOE SMART Mobility consortium and has been a recipient of the Southern Automotive Women Forum SAWF scholarship and the Smith fellowship
