Mr. McKee joined the Geographic Information and Science Technology Group (GIST) in January 2012. He is currently working on population distribution and dynamics, while assisting other projects through imagery analysis and data collection. While at the University of Southern Mississippi, Mr. McKee worked on several projects including a study investigating the role of landscape on the distribution of deer-vehicle collisions. Jake also held an internship with the NASA Develop Program at John C. Stennis Space Center. Mr. McKee is interested in using GIS and remote sensing for various applications including, spatial modeling, population distribution, landscape ecology, and biogeography.
